In this 10-week course you will work on the basics of the freestyle technique. Learn how and when to breathe, how to stay streamlined in the water and how to swim freestyle efficiently. We practise this step-by-step to get great results.
What to expect?
The 10-week Freestyle Basics course breaks down the freestyle (or front crawl) technique into 10 steps to make it easy for you to learn how to swim this technique the right way.
How does it work?
Each week you follow 2 instruction videos with technique exercises that will help you learn all the elements of the freestyle technique. You start by learning how to breathe and to stay relaxed in the water. You will finish the course by knowing how to pull-through under water the most efficient way.
After watching an instruction video, you can practice this exercise in a pool near you. When you have completed the exercise, you can finish your swim with a body conditioning workout that is included in every step. This way you improve your technique, endurance and strength all in one workout.
Training Equipment: We advise you to use the following training equipment: a kick board and pull buoy (both floating devices), a snorkel and fins.
